Alice Ripley’s come a long way since her Broadway debut sixteen years ago. From rock roles on Broadway in shows like The Who’s Tommy and The Rocky Horror Show, to dramatic turns in Sunset Boulevard and Side Show which landed her her first Tony Award nom, the actress has been trekking up and down the stage for years, showing us laudable range as both an actress and vocalist in the process. Not diverse enough for you? Toss in the fact that the singer also plays front woman to her self-titled band, Ripley, strumming guitar and piano, and you’ve gotta admit it: Alice rocks.
