Tony Winner John Lloyd Young to Debut Love Song on Valentine's Day

Jersey Boys Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young will release a debut single on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2010. The song, titled "Love Believes," will be available exclusively on iTunes.

Although little is known of the song (or whether or not a full album will follow its release), a shirtless, tattooed Young appears on the artful cover of the single, sporting angel wings and a tear-streaked cheek.

Young made his Broadway debut playing Frankie Valli in the original cast of Jersey Boys, winning a slew of top theatrical awards for his performance: a Tony Award, a Drama Desk Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award, a Theatre World Award and a Broadway.com Audience Award for Favorite Breakthrough Performance.

Since Jersey Boys, LA-based Young played Marius in Les Miserables at the Hollywood Bowl, starred in the indie film Oy Vey! My Son is Gay!, appeared in an episode of Glee and made his solo concert debut at the American Songbook Series at Lincoln Center.
