Jennifer Laura Thompson puts a special comic spin on leading lady roles, from her Tony-nominated turn as Hope Cladwell in Urinetown and confused heroine Charlotte in Little Fish to “popular” witch Glinda in Wicked and the fizzy, funny performance she’s currently giving as an ambitious opera diva in the Broadway revival of Lend Me a Tenor. Thompson’s dressing room at the Music Box Theatre is, as she cheerfully put it, “so tiny, it feels like a cell—but it’s mine!” Broadway.com recently squeezed in to take a look at Thompson’s favorite things.
