After singing "Another One Bites the Dust" on Glee last week Jonathan Groff bit some dust for real! The Broadway vet and current Glee guest star told UK’s The Daily Mail he received a five inch scar on his arm while filming the musical number for the show’s season finale.
“I was singing the Queen song ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ dancers were flying all over the place and a girl’s heel got stuck into me and drew blood,” the actor said. “I was lucky though. Some had bruises, there was a broken limb or two, others drew blood. It was like a scene from Gladiator,” Groff joked.
The former Spring Awakening star will make his last appearance (at least for now) as heartthrob-turned-villain Jesse St. James on Glee’s first season finale, which airs June 8. He is currently in London preparing to make his West End debut in a revival of Deathtrap opposite Simon Russell Beale.
