Looks like Glee is coming to Broadway. Glee creator Ryan Murphy told the New York Daily News that a Broadway adaptation of the hit TV series is "definitely" happening.
"I'm auditioning people now," Murphy said, although he was mum on possible stars, noting, "I don't know just yet. You'll see." Though the prime-time show itself stars Broadway veterans Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison, an eight show a week schedule would be highly unlikely for the actors while filming continues in Los Angeles.
Glee recently received 19 Emmy nominations including Outstanding Comedy Series. The show's second season will begin September 21 with guest spots including Britney Spears, Cheyenne Jackson and alums Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel.
