We love reading about the history of great shows that have graced the stages of Broadway's playhouses over the years. It's doubly nice when cast members from a celebrated production stay in touch. On September 19, a very special reunion took place when members of the cast and crew from the hit 1971 revival of No, No, Nanette gathered at their former home at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (known as the 46th Street Theatre in those days!). The reason for the reunion? Nanette, which ran more than two years, began rehearsals exactly 40 years ago. Although show stars such as Bobby Van, Patsy Kelly, Ruby Keeler and Jack Gilford are no longer with us, the beautiful Helen Gallagher was on hand to reminisce with company members from this fondly remembered fizzy musical farce. Travel back in time below!
