As a revolving list of movie, music and TV stars ready to show their pretty faces in guest spots on Glee, we asked which visitor you're most excited about seeing. The results are in, and newcomer Darren Criss managed to beat out some of Hollywood's top stars to snag first place with 33% of the vote. Criss appeared on TV's short-lived Eastwick and is known for the popular Harry Potter musical Internet videos in which he played the title character. He will join the show as a student from new rival glee club, the Dalton Academy Warblers, and is rumored to be a love interest for Kurt (Chris Colfer).
Second place went to Glee veteran Kristin Chenoweth, who pulled in 24% of votes. The Promises, Promises star will take a brief leave from Brodway to film her third stint as April Rhodes, a role that scored her an Emmy nomination earlier this year. The Tony winner even hinted she'll perform some striptease this season! Another Broadway veteran, Carol Burnett, scored the third-place slot with 11% of votes. The TV and stage star will play Sue Sylvester's (Jane Lynch) much-discussed but yet-to-be-seen mother.
The poll was rounded about by a pair of Broadway stars who've previously appeared on the show. Idina Menzel landed in fourth place with 8% of votes while Jonathan Groff followed closely in fifth with 7% of votes. Menzel and Groff both starred in the last half of season one as Vocal Adrenaline coach Shelby Corcoran and lead singer Jesse St. James.
