Cuchi-Cuchi! Charo Will Join Off-Broadway's Girl Talk For Two Weeks Only

Television personality Charo will join the cast of off-Broadway’s Girl Talk for two weeks beginning November 3. The Love Boat star will appear in the show through its opening night on November 14 at the Times Square Arts Center. She joins previously announced cast members Valerie Smaldone, Sonya Carter, Priscilla Fernandez, Lauren Kairalla and Berty Jay.

Charo made more than 45 appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and appeared on The Love Boat more than any other star. She also guest starred on Sonny and Cher and The Carol Burnett Show, and appeared on VH1 reality show The Surreal Life. Recently, Charo has been performing in her new show, Charo in Concert: A Musical Sensation, at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. She is also busy promoting her album, Charo and Guitar.

Girl Talk, the follow-up to off-Broadway's Girls Night: The Musical, is described as a raucous celebration of female friendship set during the final broadcast for a producer, two hosts and their favorite guest as they sign off in style from their hit radio show. After a 10-year run, the four characters discover that men and jobs can come and go, but girlfriends are forever. This interactive musical features hit songs from female recording artists including Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Carrie Underwood and Gretchen Wilson.
