Bells Are Ringing for Encores! Stars Kelli O'Hara & Will Chase in Rehearsal

Broadway musical fans are buzzing with excitement over the casting of Kelli O’Hara as lovesick answering service operator Ella Peterson in the Encores! production of Bells Are Ringing. Stepping into the role created by Judy Holliday, O’Hara will co-star with Will Chase in the 1956 tuner, which features a sparkling score by Jule Styne in collaboration with Betty Comden and Adolph Green. At a November 10 press preview, O’Hara and Chase performed three songs from the show, “It’s Perfect Relationship,” “Better Than a Dream” and “Independent,” which got us even more excited to see Kathleen Marshall's production at New York City Center November 18-21.
