We heard Gwyneth Paltrow was going to guest on Glee, and now we’ve got the video evidence! The Oscar winner will appear on next week’s episode as substitute teacher Holly Holliday (really!) who steps in when Mr. Schuester is out sick and gets everyone (except a pouty-faced Rachel, natch) singing along with her badass-but-network-TV-friendly rendition of Cee Lo Green’s “F--k You.” She may be most famous for her film roles, like that little Oscar-winner called Shakespeare in Love, but we at Broadway.com happen to know that she’s got some serious stage chops—hell, she began her career on the stage, appearing in productions at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. She’s appeared in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Picnic, The Seagull and As You Like It, among others, and made her West End stage debut in David Auburn’s Proof at the Donmar Warehouse in 2002. Now she’s guesting on Glee and performing live at the Country Music Awards! Not that we’re surprised—who could forget her kickass song “Cruisin’” with Huey Lewis in Duets? What’s next, Gwennie, a Broadway musical? Until then, check out her turn on Glee below!
