Emmy-winner Jane Lynch revealed Katie Couric will tackle a tune from the Broadway classic No, No, Nanette when the CBS Evening News anchor guest stars on Glee's upcoming post-Super Bowl episode. "I haven’t shot with her yet, but...she’s doing a dance with [Matthew Morrison]. She’ll be doing 'Tea for Two,'" Lynch told Access Hollywood.
The jazzy musical, featuring music by Vincent Youmans and lyrics by Irving Caesar and Otto Harbach, first opened on Broadway on September 16, 1925 and played 321 performances. A 1971 revival scored Tony Awards for stars Helen Gallagher and Patsy Kelly.
Couric's episode is set to air on February 6, 2011. "She’s a Gleek! She has been since the beginning," Lynch added about Couric.
