Well the weather outside is frightful, but Broadway.com is making the season delightful by revisiting some of our favorite Broadway-themed holiday clips. It may have been a hard knock-life onstage for Andrea McArdle and the orphans of the Tony-winning musical Annie, but the adorable girls were able to enjoy life on "Easy Street," thanks to a splashy 1977 holiday TV special, The Annie Christmas Show. At first the crew at the Alvin Theatre (now known as the Neil Simon Theatre) was reluctant to put any effort into a big party, but the cast used their song and dance skills to convince them otherwise! Take a look below as Tony winner Dorothy Loudon (who played the nasty orphan administrator Miss Hannigan) begs the musical's orchestra to join in on the fun (thanks to a medley of songs featuring "I'll Be Home For Christmas" and "Strike Up the Band") then click again for the show's opening, featuring Annie, Sandy and all their friends.
