Key Brand Entertainment Inc. announced today that it has completed the purchase of Broadway.com from previous owner Hollywood Media Corp. The company also owns Broadway Across America, a producer of many Broadway shows including Promises, Promises, La Cage aux Folles, The Merchant of Venice, Million Dollar Quartet and the upcoming revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying starring Daniel Radcliffe.
“The acquisition of Broadway.com is a very exciting opportunity for us to connect even further with theatergoers on Broadway and around the world,” Key Brand Founder and CEO John Gore, who is also the company's largest shareholder, said in a statement. “The announcement is especially timely, as a survey by the Broadway League just named Broadway.com the top source for theatergoers looking for information on Broadway.”
