A Toast to the Cast of A.R. Gurney’s Black Tie at Primary Stages

Weddings are naturally theatrical, and A.R. Gurney, a playwright with an eagle eye for the foibles of the upper-crust, has written a new comedy centering on a toast made by a father of the groom played by dapper Broadway vet Gregg Edelman. Black Tie is set to begin previews on January 25, 2011, at Primary Stages, and the distinguished company, including Edelman, Carolyn McCormick and The Nanny’s Daniel Davis, lined up for a few photos before rehearsal on December 21.
