As New York City’s seventh winter snowstorm dumped 19 extra inches in Central Park, Broadway’s box offices felt a typical January chill. Three shows topped $1 million, including the previewing Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark (which gave seven performances), but even the top titles had a few empty seats. Meanwhile, Broadway said farewell to the second incarnation of Donald Margulies’ Time Stands Still, which closed at the Cort Theatre.
