The spring season is starting to rear its head on Broadway as new plays Good People and That Championship Season began performances this week. Both shows got off to healthy starts by playing to 89.79% and 89.45% capacities, respectively. After a brief hiatus, Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles also returned, playing its first week of performances at its new home the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Meanwhile, audience favorites like Wicked, Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark and The Lion King remained on top over the Valentine's Day weekend, all selling over $1 million in tickets.
