In the Heights vet Christopher Jackson headed downtown to Manhattan’s Canal Room on Febraury 15 for a concert celebrating the release of his debut CD, In the Name of Love. Jackson, who originated the role of Heights’ neighborhood romantic Benny, wrote and co-produced the soulful R&B album, which is now available online and will arrive in stores on March 29. The eclectic CD draws inspiration from Jackson’s musical heroes, including Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield and the Isley Brothers. Jackson was joined by Heights pals such as Lin-Manuel Miranda and, of course, his wife Veronica. After all, it's about love! Click through to see Jackson celebrate his big night.
