In a week that found Broadway grosses on the downswing, the previewing Book of Mormon jumped more than $150,000, earning a spot on the frontrunners’ list for capacity and earning a healthy $604,594 in seven previews at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre. MTC's Good People also cracked the top five, playing to 95% of capacity on its opening week. In the comings and goings department, Colin Quinn ended his Broadway run in Long Story Short (paving the way for the return of Rock of Ages) and Priscilla Queen of the Desert played its first week of previews at the Palace Theatre.
