Best Foot Forward! New York Theater’s Finest Rub Elbows at the 2011 Drama Desk Awards Reception

The 2011 Drama Desk Award nominees were announced on April 29, and on May 2, the honorees rubbed elbows at a special cocktail reception at Bombay Palace. The awards, which honor the best of Broadway and off-Broadway, will take place on May 23 in a dinner ceremony at the Hammerstein Ballroom to be hosted by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein. The list of nominees showcases the full spectrum of New York theater talent, with honorees including everyone from How to Succeed star Daniel Radcliffe and Ghetto Klown star John Leguizamo to off-Broadway favorites like Other Desert Cities and the revival of Angels in America.
