After a full 24 hours to let the news of their Tony nods sink in, the 2011 Tony Award nominees got gussied up and stepped out to meet the theater press at the Millennium Broadway Hotel on May 4. Stars like Ellen Barkin, Edie Falco, Patti LuPone, Whoopi Goldberg, Sutton Foster, Joe Mantello, Donna Murphy and many, many more accepted their official nominee pins with grace, then headed into the throng of reporters to chat about their wonderful shows and the exciting awards season ahead.
