Do we sound like a broken record when reporting on the box office prowess of The Book of Mormon? It can’t be helped: Fresh from being nominated for 14 Tony Awards, the hit musical kept climbing in a week in which most other shows experienced drops in grosses and attendance. Three Tony-nominated shows made their way onto the frontrunners’ lists, joining the missionaries from “Sal Tlay Ka Siti”: How to Succeed ranked #5 on the grosses list, and Good People (yay! a play!) and Anything Goes made their way onto the top five for capacity.
