The mood was light but the excitement was palpable at the 12th Annual Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, which four-time Tony winner and presenter Audra McDonald dubbed the "Golden Globes of Broadway.” Before the May 15 ceremony, Broadway.com chatted with nominees like Daniel Radcliffe, Sutton Foster, Nick Adams and Patina Miller and presenters like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Gavin Creel and Karen Olivo on the red carpet about what makes a prize voted on by fans so special.
