With the June 12 Tony Awards just around the corner, audiences have been eager to catch some of the shows showered with nominations. The Book of Mormon, which pulled in 14 Tony nods, continues to pack the Eugene O'Neill Theatre playing at 102% of capacity. Best Play nominee War Horse (five nominations) and Best Revival of a Musical nominee Anything Goes (nine nominations) also played to sold-out houses. Despite the current awards season frenzy, long-running hits Wicked and The Lion King once again claimed the top spots for ticket sales, with the revamped Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and the hit revival of How to Succeed also in the million-dollar club.
