While theater fans were enjoying Neil Patrick Harris do a bang-up job hosting the 65th annual Tony Awards ceremony, Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda was having a far less glamorous time hammering out the closing number in the basement of the Beacon Theatre with his In the Heights director Thomas Kail. James. As Miranda explained on Twitter, he cut out the scenes where he was "naked and crying."
