Broadway box office results remained steady in the week leading up to the Tony Awards, with perennial winners Wicked, The Lion King, Spider-Man, Book of Mormon and Jersey Boys at the top of the leader board. The eventual 2011 Tony winners—Mormon, War Horse and Anything Goes—didn’t need a “Tony bump” to make the frontrunners’ lists for grosses and/or capacity. All in all, it’s a great start to the busy summer tourist season on the Great White Way.
