Ellen Greene will star in the musical comedy Betwixt! at London's Trafalgar Studios 2 this summer. The production will run from July 26 to August 20, directed by its author, Ian McFarlane, and co-starring Steven Webb, Ashleigh Gray and Benedict Salter.
Set in New York City, Betwixt follows a young man suffering from writer's block. Alongside his roommate, he is flung into a fantasy world that involves brave heroes, daytime TV stars, sex-crazed nymphs, hunchbacks, cross-dressing mutes and much more.
Greene is best known for her starring role in the off-Broadway premiere and 1986 film adaptation of Little Shop of Horrors. She has appeared on Broadway in Three Men on a Horse, The Little Prince and the Aviator, The Threepenny Opera and Rachael Lilly Rosenbloom and Don't You Ever Forget It. Her many film and TV credits include Pushing Daisies, Heroes, The Young and the Restless, Crossing Jordan, Suddenly Susan, One Fine Day, The Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult and Pump Up the Volume.
