In an ending as upbeat as the show that inspired it, Oxygen's The Glee Project crowned two winners of seven-episode arcs on Season Three of Glee. Both Samuel Larsen of Los Angeles and Damian McGinty of Derry City, Ireland will enjoy extended story lines on the hit Fox TV show. In a surprise twist, fellow finalists Lindsay Pearce of Modesto, California and Alex Newell of Lynn, Massachusetts also were awarded two-episode story arcs on Glee.
On The Glee Project, show creator Ryan Murphy judged 12 young hopefuls vying for a role on Glee. Contestants had to sing, act and dance in music videos as well as live performances in front of the judges. In the finale episode, two finalists performed Broadway show tunes, with Pearce singing "Gimme Gimme" from Thoroughly Modern Millie and Newell belting out "I Am Changing" from Dreamgirls in full drag.
Season Three of Glee premieres on September 21.
