Weekend Poll Top Three: Musical Superstars Reign as the Reality TV Judges Fans Want to See on Broadway

As Kara DioGuardi's readies to make her Broadway debut in Chicago on September 4, Broadway.com asked readers what other reality TV judge they'd like to see take to the Broadway stage. The votes are in...so take a look below to find out which judges made the cut (with no drawn-out results show necessary!).

1. Adam Levine, The Voice - 28%
Levine recently wrapped his first season on NBC's singing competition The Voice and will return for the show's second season in early 2012. Aside from a guest appearence as himself on 30 Rock, the Maroon 5 singer has yet to transition into acting. However, he recently landed a development deal with NBC to create a sitcom set in a karaoke bar.


2. Christina Aguilera, The Voice - 21%
Grammy winner Aguilera has yet to make her Broadway debut, but the singer recently starred in the 2010 movie musical Burlesque alongside Broadway veterans Cher, Stanley Tucci and Alan Cumming. She was also rumored to star as Amneris in a film adaptation of the Elton John and Tim Rice musical Aida.


3. Jennifer Lopez, American Idol - 13%
Although New York native Lopez hasn't expanded her film and music career into the world of theater, she did channel West Side Story's Anita for a 2009 Vanity Fair photo shoot. Lopez's name was also floated around as a possible star for the now-defunct In the Heights film.
