Any theatergoer who saw the original cast of Footloose on Broadway back in 1998 certainly remembers Stacy Francis’ sassy, soulful rendition of “Let’s Hear It For the Boy.” But after back-to-back standout appearances on the New York stage in shows like Born to Sing!, Smokey Joe’s Café and Street Corner Symphony, Francis left theater for the lights of Hollywood.
