Hot Off the Presses! Jeremy Jordan & Co-Stars Celebrate Newsies’ Opening Night

The cast of Newsies may “Seize the Day” eight times a week, but on September 25 they seized their opening night at Paper Mill Playhouse. This stage adaptation of the beloved 1992 Disney movie musical took flight at the Millburn, New Jersey theater, led by Jeremy Jordan as Jack Kelly, a rebellious young newsboy who guides a turn-of-the-century strike against newspaper publisher Joseph Pulitzer. After the show, Jordan and his talented co-stars joined their A-list creative team, including composer Alan Menken and librettist Harvey Fierstein, to celebrate.
