It was yet another peppy week at Broadway’s box offices as the hits kept rising and several new shows posted promising results. The Book of Mormon broke the house record at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre for the 19th time with $1.346 million for the week. Meanwhile, the Broadway transfer of Other Desert Cities cracked the frontrunners’ list for capacity while still in previews, and the newly opened drama The Mountaintop leaped $130,000 from the previous week, to an impressive $789,727.
