Shannon Lewis has been one of our favorite Broadway dance stars since her attention-grabbing turn as the "I Gotcha" girl in the original cast of Fosse, so it was only natural to ask her to help kick off Gotta Dance!, Broadway.com's new photo/video series. In this regular feature, we'll highlight the dancers who "pop" out of the ensembles of the hottest musicals in town with a high-drama, high-style photo shoot with photographer Matthew Murphy and a behind-the-scenes video feature. Lewis can currently be seen in the smash hit revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying as Miss Krumholtz and has also been featured in shows like Crazy For You, Contact, The Look of Love, Sweet Charity, Curtains and The People in the Picture.
Watch the video below to find out how Lewis was dropped onto the New York stage, staying vital on the "other side of 22" and carrying on the legacy of Broadway's best hoofers.
