Watch Andy Karl Enter the Ring in Rocky the Musical

As previously reported, Rocky Balboa is punching his way to the stage in a new musical adaptation of the Oscar-winning movie Rocky, produced by its original star and screenwriter Sylvester Stallone. The musical won't make its German world premiere until November 2012, but audiences can get a sneak peek of what to expect from the show thanks to footage from a reading earlier this year which featured Jersey Boys' Andy Karl playing the title boxer. The show's creative team, including director Alex Timbers and composers Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, discusses the challenges and excitement of making the famous Philadelphian sing.
