Rapper Pitbull to Guest Star on Glee

Rapper Pitbull is the newest famous face joining Santana’s (Naya Rivera) family on Glee, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The rapper is in talks to play Santana’s older brother on an episode set to air in January 2012. He would appear on the same episode as previously announced guest star Gloria Estefan, who will play Santana’s mother. Evita star Ricky Martin will now appear on a later episode of the hit fox series.

Pitbull is best known for his singles “Krazy,” “I Know You Want Me” and “On The Floor” with Jennifer Lopez. The rapper joins the growing roster of high-profile Glee guest stars, which includes Kristin Chenoweth, Gwyneth Paltrow, Carol Burnett, Cheyenne Jackson, Molly Shannon and John Stamos. The Hollywood Reporter also reports that casting has begun for Rachel’s (Lea Michele) much discussed, but never seen gay dads. 

Glee airs on Wednesdays at 8 PM on Fox.
