Eve Myles and Susannah Fielding will join Zach Braff as Emma and Kim, respectively, in the previously announced U.K. premiere of his play All New People. Directed by Peter DuBois, the production will play limited engagements at the Manchester Opera House (February 8-11) and Glasgow's King’s Theatre (February 14-18) before beginning a 10-week run at the West End's Duke of York Theatre on February 22. Casting for the role of Myron has yet to be announced.
All New People is set in the dead of winter at a vacation home in New Jersey. Charlie (Braff) is 35, heartbroken and just wants some time away from the rest of the world. The island ghost town seems to be the perfect escape until his solitude is interrupted by a motley parade of misfits who show up and change his plans. A hired beauty (Fielding), the townie fireman, and an eccentric British real estate agent (Myles) suddenly find themselves tangled together in a beach house where the mood is anything but sunny.
Myles is best known for her role as Gwen on TV's Torchwood. Her other TV credits include Doctor Who, Belonging, Merlin and EastEnders. Fielding has appeared in The Year We Knew Nothing of Each Other, The Rose Tattoo and Much Ado About Nothing.
All New People premiered at off-Broadway's Second Stage Theatre in July 2011.
