Grant Gustin, who plays Dalton Academy Warbler Sebastian, may become a series regular during season four of Glee, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Gustin, who's character has had his sights set on stealing Blaine (Darren Criss) from his boyfriend Kurt (Chris Colfer), will continue to appear throughout season three of the hit series, with an offer on the table to join full time for season four.
“Being a Warbler is totally bad-ass, but I wouldn't be surprised if at some point he made the switch [to McKinley High School] like Blaine did," Gustin said of his character's possible future.
Criss, who's currently appearing in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying recently told Broadway.com he’d be open to the idea of a love-triangle with Gustin. However, Gustin told The Hollywood Reporter that on the show's January 31 Michael Jackson tribute episode, Sebastian will lay off his pursuit of Blaine.
"As of the Michael Jackson episode, he's slightly separating himself [from Blaine] and is less flirtatious and more of a dick," Gustin said. "He's not necessarily pursuing Blaine anymore. He's not as into it as he has been in the past. Blaine's not giving him anything to work with and he's probably a little bored with it and moves on."
Gustin played the role of Baby John in the recent national tour of West Side Story. He first appeared on Glee on the series' November 8 episode.
