The 66th Annual Tony Awards Ceremony To Be Held on June 10

Save the date! The 66th Annual Tony Awards will take place on Sunday, June 10, 2012. The event will be broadcast live on CBS from New York City’s Beacon Theatre. This marks the second year that the Tony Awards will be held at the venue. Glenn Weiss, who is the executive producer of the event along with his White Cherry Entertainment colleague Ricky Kirshner, will direct.

The American Theatre Wing’s Antoinette Perry “Tony” Awards, which honor theater professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway, are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. Broadway productions must officially open by April 26, 2012 to be considered eligible for a Tony Award nomination this year. The nominations will likely be announced the week of April 30, 2012.
