Glee Poll Results: Fans Choose Their Favorite McKinley High Faculty Members

With Glee paying so much attention to the staff of McKinley High (including guest star and Evita leading man Ricky Martin) in  “The Spanish Teacher,” Broadway.com asked readers which faculty member at McKinley High was their favorite. The results are in, and the sweet and nurturing Miss Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays) is the winner with 28% of votes! As the germaphobe guidance counselor with the most hilarious, yet helpful pamphlets in Ohio, Miss Pillsbury secured herself a tenure position at McKinley this week as well as a place in fans’ hearts.

The runner-up spot goes to Miss Pillsbury’s fiancée and New Directions advisor Will Schuester (Tony nominee Matthew Morrison) with 26% of votes. Rachel’s (Lea Michele) biological mom and Troubletones director, Shelby Corcoran (Tony winner Idina Menzel), followed with 12% of votes.
