Silence! Scribes Take on The Help: The Musical with Raunchy Parody Song

Is The Help: The Musical one step closer to actually happening? Broadway.com readers recently expressed interest in seeing the hit novel and film adapted for the stage, which led our editorial staff to compile a dream cast for the potential project. Now Jon and Alan Kaplan, the duo behind the off-Broadway hit parody musical Silence! The Musical, are taking a stab at creating The Help: The Musical with the raunchy new music video "Eat My Sh*t." Recounting one of the film's most memorable moments, Lucretia T. Williams takes on the role of southern maid Minnie Jackson (played on screen by Octavia Spencer) as she sings about getting revenge on her former employer's snotty daughter, by baking a feces-filled pie.
