Steven Pasquale has landed the dual lead roles in NBC’s latest pilot Do Not Harm, according to Deadline.com. Tony-winning director Michael Mayer, who recently helmed the pilot of Smash, has been tapped to direct. No further casting has been announced.
Do Not Harm is a medical drama with a Jekyll and Hyde feel. The series revolves around a brilliant neurosurgeon who wrestles with a dangerous alter ego that threatens to wreak havoc on his personal and professional life.
Pasquale appeared on Broadway in Reasons to Be Pretty and off-Broadway in Fat Pig, The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide... and A Soldier's Play. For seven seasons he starred as Sean Garrity on FX’s Rescue Me.
Do No Harm features a script by David Schulner and is executive produced by Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan.
