Watch Darren Criss Duet with Kermit the Frog on 'Rainbow Connection' at the Oscars

Muppet fans caused quite an uproar after the announcement that America’s favorite puppets would not perform at this year’s Oscars, despite their recent self-titled film nabbing a nomination for Best Original Song. The folks at E! stepped up to the plate and asked Broadway veteran and Glee star Darren Criss to join Kermit the Frog to perform the classic Muppet song “The Rainbow Connection” during the Oscar pre-show. During their chat Criss revealed he's a life-long fan of the Muppets, and Kermit even admits to watching Glee! There was even mention of Criss appearing in the next Muppet movie.
