Newsies Composer Alan Menken Shows Off His Eight Oscars on CBS News

Talk about an achievement, composer Alan Menken has won more Academy Awards than any other living person! CBS News recently caught up with the composer to discuss his illustrious career and watch him work on his two latest Broadway productions Newsies and Leap of Faith. During the interview Menken also reveals why Little Shop of Horrors was the most fabulous experience of his career, and which Disney film (his work includes songs penned for The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin) is his favorite.
