Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth is hitting the road for her first-ever concert tour, according to The Washington Post. The Wicked alum will perform in 19 cities during the 2012 North American tour, which begins May 9 in Seattle. The tour wraps up June 24 in her home town of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, where the main stage at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center will be renamed in honor of the Broadway star.
Chenoweth is a Tony winner for You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and received a nomination for Wicked. Her other Broadway credits include The Apple Tree, Epic Proportions and Steel Pier. Chenoweth earned an Emmy Award for Pushing Daisies and nominations for Glee. Her new series GCB begins its run March 4 on ABC. Chenoweth's many film and TV credits include You Again, Four Christmases, Deck the Halls, The West Wing, RV, Bewitched and Kristin.
