Her name might not be Rose this time around, but Bernadette Peters’ performance of “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” is just as sweet on the March 19 episode of Smash. The two-time Tony Award winner, who received a 2003 Best Actress nomination for her starring role in Gypsy, belted out the legendary musical number for her guest appearance as Broadway star Leigh Conroy, the mother of Megan Hilty’s character, Ivy Lynn, on the NBC musical drama.
