The BIO channel will air Glee: Don’t Stop Believing, an in-depth exploration of FOX’s Glee, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The hour-long special will go behind the scenes of the hit series and feature never-before-told stories charting the show’s evolution from concept to casting to pop culture phenomenon. The special will air on April 10, beginning directly after Glee’s spring premiere on FOX.
Glee: Don’t Stop Believing will feature interviews with creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan as well as its stars Lea Michele, Darren Criss, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Cory Monteith, Jayma Mays, Chris Colfer, Dianna Agron, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Mike O'Malley.
Set at the fictional McKinley High School, Glee follows a group of misfit students who come together to form a show choir, The New Directions. Under the guidance of their devoted advisor (Morrison), the students battle the hardships of high school and savor in the thrill of performing. Since it’s premiere in 2009, the show has received 32 Emmy nominations (six wins), nine Golden Globe nominations (four wins) and 25 Teen Choice Award nominations (six wins). The hit series spawned a touring concert and a film, Glee: The 3D Concert Movie.
