Cheyenne Jackson Planning Summer Release of New Solo Album

Cheyenne Jackson has an album due out in June 2012, according to his website. While little information about the album has been revealed, the actor recently tweeted he is working with Sony Records, and producer Thomas "Tawgs" Salter is overseeing his first two singles.

Jackson's Broadway credits include All Shook Up, Finian's Rainbow, Aida, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Xanadu. His TV credits include 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Glee and Ugly Betty. He also recently filmed a TV pilot for USA alongside Nathan Lane.

Jackson's first album, a collaboration with Michael Feinstein called The Power of Two, was released in 2009. The album featured classic songs by Cole Porter, Cy Coleman, The Gershwins, Hoagy Carmichael and more.
