Meet Will McAvoy. A prominent news anchor with an even temperament…until now. In the trailer for Aaron Sorkin’s new HBO series The Newsroom, Jeff Daniels stars as McAvoy, who's oftend hailed as “Jay Leno of news anchors,” but when prodded to give his honest opinion on the current state of the U.S., the mild-mannered man lets loose. “When you ask what makes us the greatest country in the world, I don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about! Yosemite?" he unleashes!  Written and produced by Sorkin, the show takes a behind-the-scenes look at a fictional cable news network and co-stars Broadway vets Jane Fonda, Alison Pill, John Gallagher, Jr., Thomas Sadoski, David Cromer, and Sam Waterston, along with Emily Mortimer, Olivia Munn and Dev Patel.
