On April 1, the star-studded cast of The Best Man opened on Broadway in a flurry of mudslinging, name-calling and dirt-digging in Gore Vidal’s classic 1960 political drama. After taking their first official Broadway bows, John Larroquette, Eric McCormack, James Earl Jones, Angela Lansbury, Candice Bergen, Kerry Butler, Michael McKean and Jefferson Mays joined director Michael Wilson and starry guests for an after party at Brasserie 8 1/2.
