The off-Broadway transfer of Amy Herzog’s critically acclaimed drama 4000 Miles has extended through June 17 at Lincoln Center Theater’s Mitzi E. Newhouse Theatre. The limited engagement was originally scheduled to conclude May 20. Directed by Daniel Aukin and starring Tony winner Mary Louise Wilson and Gabriel Ebert, the show opened on April 2.
4000 Miles tells the story of 21 year-old Leo (Ebert) who loses his best friend during a cross-country bike trip. Leo then seeks solace from his feisty, Communist grandmother (Wilson) in her West Village apartment.
The plays also features Zoe Winters and Greta Lee. The drama initially premiered on June 20, 2011, as part of Lincoln Center’s LCT3 development program.
