Nominations for the 2012 Tony Awards will be announced on May 1, and all of Broadway is eager to find out which shows will be recognized this year. It’s easy to get wrapped up in the abundance of new shows that dazzled audiences this spring, so let’s take a moment to look back on some of the eligible shows that closed earlier this season. The first half of the season included the expertly acted revival of Follies, the short-lived new musical Bonnie & Clyde and MTC’s captivating revivals of Master Class and Wit, just to name a few.
